In August 2015, we upgraded our email servers to be hosted through Microsoft Outlook, a service of Office 365. Previously we used another service through Microsoft, but we are excited to have ventured to the latest service offered by the company. In preparation for the new service we use for email, we made this tutorial to make the transition for you much easier. Follow the steps below to set up your new @mounthollychurch.com email account.
Important: Mount Holly Church email accounts are available to leaders of the various ministries offered at Mount Holly Church. If you had an @mounthollychurch.com email address prior to August 2015 and have not set up your new account on Microsoft Outlook, you can no longer send or receive emails through that email address. You must set up your new account to continue using your @mounthollychurch.com email address.
In the transition to using Microsoft Outlook, all previous Mount Holly Church email accounts were removed from our database. If your new @mounthollychurch.com email address has not been provided to you by our media producer, you can request to have your account created by contacting Brandon Adams through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that the screenshots depicted in the images below are simulated and may differ from what you experience. However, the setup process will remain the same throughout.
In the email@example.com box, type in your Mount Holly Church email address.
In the Password box, type in your temporary password.
When you're finished, click Sign in.
Once you sign in with your temporary password, you will be required to update it. Type your temporary password in the Current password box and then type your new password in both the New password and Confirm password boxes.
When you're finished, click Update password and sign in.
The next screen will ask you for your preferred display language and home time zone. Choose the language you prefer and choose (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) when selecting the time zone.
Once you select your options, click Save.
Your account has been successfully set up and you're now ready to send and receive email!
When you're done with your email, you can sign out by clicking the Mount Holly Church dove logo in the top right corner of the screen and then click Sign out in the drop down menu.

Your account comes with many settings and options, such as automatic replies, email forwarding, creating a signature, and much more.
To adjust these settings, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and scroll through the menu box that appears.
