Mount Holly Church is open Sundays and Wednesdays for regular groups and classes! We are excited and eager to hold these services each Sunday and Wednesday with our church members, visitors, and families. However, we are doing so cautiously by following the guidelines set by health officials to keep everyone safe. Our FAQ section below will answer the most common questions regarding how the church will operate moving forward.
First, you’ll notice the limited seating capacity inside the church sanctuary. We’ve removed several chairs in the sanctuary and spaced out seating to abide by social distancing guidelines. Don’t worry, you and your family will be able to sit together. There are groups of chairs, ranging from three to six chairs in each group, spaced apart from others so your family can sit together.
We usually set a time to shake hands and welcome each other to the service in the sanctuary. To keep everyone safe, we are excluding the meet-and-greet part of our service indefinitely to help practice social distancing. We ask that while you’re inside the building to please refrain from physical contact of any kind with others (handshakes, hugging, high-fives, etc.).
Tithes and offerings will be received during their regular time during the service, but offering buckets will not be passed around the sanctuary like usual. Church board members will be wearing face coverings and will hold the buckets in front of your seats for you to give while practicing social distancing.
The church will be dismissed as usual, but we ask that you be mindful of the space between you and others and practice social distancing as you leave the building.

Restrooms are open, but we ask that no more than one person at a time enter them. If there are others in the restroom when you enter, please practice social distancing and keep a distance of six feet between you and the others. We will provide hand towels for touch-free utilization.
Sanitizing stations are set up at several places in the church lobby. Everyone is welcome to sanitize their hands as they seem fit. Please be mindful of others and not use more than you need.
Certain areas of the building are either restricted or closed entirely to public access. Please do not enter any restricted or closed area of the building unless it is a place designated for you by your role within the church; remember, this is to keep you and others safe.

Masking tape is placed throughout the building to help encourage the social distancing guidelines. As you’re moving throughout the building, please reference the markers to abide by these guidelines. We’ve also made graphics that will display on the center screen and side screens inside the sanctuary before and after the service to remind others to practice social distancing.
Other changes have been made to encourage social distancing and are addressed in the sections above.

We want you to feel safe while you’re here. We do not require face masks or coverings to be worn, but we highly encourage everyone to wear them while in the building. Please note that Mount Holly does not currently supply face masks or coverings.
That’s okay. While we have put several safety measures in place, we understand that not everyone is ready or able to join us in person. You can listen to this week’s message on our website here. We also have several encouraging messages you can watch on-demand on our YouTube channel. Weekly video messages and audio podcasts are coming soon, so stay tuned!
As information about the coronavirus pandemic rapidly changes, we may have to adjust how we operate. If new changes are implemented, we’ll update this page with new information and post updates on our Facebook page.
