March 15, 2020 — 8:32 PM EDT The church continues to monitor the developments of the coronavirus disease. Based on information and guidance from government leaders and those in the medical profession, Pastor Guyton announced that we will take a day-by-day approach in regards to how services will be held at Mount Holly Church. We will not arbitrarily make these decisions — as new information is released about the disease, if we don't feel it's appropriate to meet at the church, we won't. If we have to call off any particular services, we will. This is our plan on how the church will operate for at least the next week.
As the church remains open, we will continue to take preventative measures to help reduce the risk of exposure. A sanitation station will be set up in the lobby of the church, we will not engage in the regular ways we welcome you (including handshaking, hugging, meet and greet during service, etc.), and we will rigorously clean and sanitize all areas of the facility. As a general practice, we suggest engaging in social distancing by keeping a few seats between you and other visitors and members. We will keep the homepage of our website and our Facebook page updated with any service cancellations. If you've signed up to receive text messages from us, you'll get a message about those cancellations as well. If you'd like to sign up, go here and enter your phone number. Comments are closed.
