We want to thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website. We believe our website is the number one resource for information and communication from our church. It's our goal through our website, as well as our social media pages, to provide you with updated and accurate information as soon as possible.
In January 2016, we released a new, fresh look to our website and updates through each page of our site. With this upgrade, we had to get rid of a lot of features and website codes that made our site accessible from every web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, and others). We hate that this had to happen because we understand that our website no longer functions correctly on every web browser.
If you're using Internet Explorer, we hate to inform you that our website no longer supports the codes built into Internet Explorer that would usually make our site show correctly. Because of this, the fonts we embed into our website will not appear in the Internet Explorer web browser -- they will be replaced with standard website fonts. This is an issue because since we use fonts that are smaller and larger than standard fonts, text may appear distorted or pushed together, causing it to be hard to read and make out what is being stated. Another main issue with Internet Explorer as it relates to our website is that it does not support the specific coding we use for SVG images (SVG is an image format for two-dimensional graphics with support for interactivity and animation). If we've placed an SVG image on our website, simply put, it will not show up. You may see an outline of a box where the image is placed but because of the format it's in, it won't appear in Internet Explorer.
You can download Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or any other web browser that is offered online for free to use as your new web browser. Our website is supported by all the latest versions of those web browsers. If you use a PC, you may be able to upgrade your computer to Windows 10 for free and use the new Microsoft Edge, which is the replacement for the Internet Explorer web browser on Windows PCs. Our website is fully supported by Microsoft Edge and SVG images will show with no problems.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or need help, please reach out to me.
